The Myth of the "Broken" Woman
You Weren’t Born to Be Repaired: Why Your "Mess" is Actually a Blueprint
We are taught from a young age that if we aren't perfectly adjusted, we are broken and need to be fixed. We try the diets, the career pivots, the self-help hacks—always chasing the version of ourselves that society says is "whole."
I spent years trying to repair a version of myself that wasn't even real. I was programmed to keep myself small and stuck, and I felt like a failure every time I deviated from the norm. But the truth? I wasn’t broken. I was just living inside someone else’s programming.
My healing didn't come from "fixing" myself, It came from burning down the expectations and realizing that my "mess"—my raw, unfiltered, emotional, human mess—was actually my greatest asset.
It wasn't easy. Unpacking a lifetime of trauma and unprocessed emotions is heavy, messy work. It's something I am still working on daily, But on the other side of that work isn't a "perfect" woman. There is however a truer version of me that is sovereign, authentic, and unapologetic.
I’m a mother, a writer, an artist, and a woman who had to lose everything I thought I needed to realize I already had everything I needed. I’m a total hot mess who doesn't have it all figured out yet—but I do have a blueprint.
You don't need to be repaired. You need to be reclaimed.
I’m here to help you turn your pain into your purpose and your truth into medicine. What part of your life have you been trying to "fix" that might actually just need to be honored and released? Let’s figure it out together.
With Love,
Willow
